Discovering, Promoting, and Creating
Children's Stories and Picture Books
Essential Bookshelf
Here is a set of the fantastic books that I beleive are a great place to start for any new collection or addition to your own library. Included is a brief review of each and an Amazon affiliate link. Don't feel compelled to purchase the books through Amazon if you're more comfortable with your own bookstore, but they have been my source for new, used, and digital children's books since my children were babies, they have fantstic reviews, make other good recommendations, and I can strongly recommend them.

Cute Super Short Books
There are a lot of very short books that we would pick up just to have something new on a trip or that looked like fun in the $1 bins at Target. However here are a few that my kids absolutely fell in love with, they only take a few minutes to read, and I think are just right for anyone looking for a fun short story to add to their young chilren's collection.
